The Venango Conservation District is partnering with Pennsylvania Trout Unlimited and the Center for Dirt and Gravel Roads Studies to present two stream crossing replacement workshops.
The first workshop will be held on Wednesday July 8th 2020 at the Nature Lodge on Two Mile Run County Park starting at 9:00am. We'll spending the morning in a classroom style presentation where we'll talk about Dirt Gravel and Low Volume Roads Program site eligibility for stream crossing as well as program policy requirements. We'll also cover the program application process, engineering, planning and permitting, along with construction considerations. The second workshop will take place on Union Street in Cornplanter Township on Thursday July 23rd starting at 8:30am. We'll meet at the site of a pending stream crossing replacement for this construction season. Well discuss the site and will highlight critical elements of construction. Prelaunch activities are part of my work. Well, I am part of my companies events' team. It is not an easy job to be part of, I mean, it is hard to make the best of what we have. If you want to remain in this field, then you need to be good with handling both resources and time. I hate how stressful it is, but that does not mean that I will give up. It pays good money, so I will remain here.
