2014 VCD Educational Event

On Thursday July 24th the district held and educational event at our Chairman's farm in Polk PA.  In attendance were board members, staff, cooperators and a legislative representative.  Attendees learned about the district and the work we do in Venango County to conserve natural resources.  Our district manager gave a presentation on programs and services that the district provides to land owners and visitors to Venango County.  A tour of a nearby stream bank stabilization project was conducted.  A very special thanks to the Mike Ohler family for hosting our educational event.
