The Venango Conservation District will host an agricultural field day event with cooperation from Sandy Valley Farms in Polk PA. Sandy Valley Farms has worked to implement different conservation practices around the farm and on district managed Commonwealth property.
The goal of the field day event is to teach people the importance of implementing conservation practices on agricultural operations and the benefits both financially and environmentally. Demonstrations will cover: Evolution of No-Till Streambank/Ag Compliance Hybrid Selection in To-Till Soil Profile Modification Corn Root Worm Population Study Join us on Friday July 25th 2014 for the 2014 Venango County Agricultural Field Day.
