 Recently the Venango Conservation District hosted a Rain Barrel Workshop. Participants learned about the benefits of using a rain barrel to manage stormwater in the backyard. Along with the presentation, the district recommends that homeowners utilize rain gardens near their rain barrel. This practice is a great place to empty your rain barrel after every storm event.
